Reseña
Designed to seamlessly blend the natural landscape into every corner and vista of the resort, it was created by the renowned Mexican studio, Sordo Madaleno. Situated on the shores of the Sea of Cortez, the resort offers suites with private pools, rooms with spacious balconies, and all the luxury you’d expect in Cabo del Sol, the trendy new neighbourhood in Los Cabos.
The resort boasts two signature restaurants: Mesa Madre, where Mexican cuisine is reimagined to evoke the warmth of a grandmother’s kitchen, and a new restaurant serving Levantine Mediterranean cuisine with North African flavours and local touches for an unforgettable dining experience. Its wine selection is also superior to that of many other hotels in the area.
We can’t quite decide whether this special magic stems from the infinity pool at the heart of the resort or its exclusive beach club—where, at certain times of year, you can spot whales up close from your cabana. The seven buildings are laid out in such a way that, whether you’re travelling with your family or on your honeymoon, you’ll have plenty of space to enjoy the resort at your own pace, all within walking distance. The rooms are very spacious, and falling asleep to the lullaby of the Pacific Ocean is an unforgettable experience; you can see it from every vantage point.
The architecture is revealed in the details of every room through the refinement of contemporary Mexican design. High ceilings and natural finishes give it a warm yet modern feel. The spa is as spacious as the suites themselves, offering specialised treatments to enhance relaxation for couples; you can enjoy one of its six treatment rooms by booking in advance. This hydrotherapy circuit is a pure delight for the skin.
As with any luxury resort, the service is tailored to your needs, and a range of experiences can be added to your stay: from ATV adventures through the canyons, showcasing the beauty of the desert and the sea, to a visit to the shopping center opposite the complex. There are also nearby golf courses, as well as a speciality coffee shop where you can buy sweet treats as souvenirs.
